Junior level

​

Aims

For the junior level students, they are expected to:

  1. To develop students perceptual abilities, with special emphasis on visual, aesthetic and arts experience.

  2. To enable students’ to express personal feelings and thoughts through artistic presentations.

  3. To develop students’ visual cognition and generic skills through art making, appreciation and criticism.

  4. To broaden students’ perspectives through exploration of the arts of diverse cultures

  5. To cultivate students’ emotions, personal refinement, morals.

Senior level

Aims

For the senior level students, they are expected to:

  1. be strengthened in their abilities to appreciate and create various forms of visual arts work aesthetically and critically

  2. be enhanced cultural and cross-cultural understanding through exploration of the art of diverse cultures

  3. be cultivated in personal refinement, positive values and attitudes, self-identity and a sense of commitment towards the community, the nation and the world

  4. acquire a foundation for pursuing education and career opportunities in the art and creative industries.
